A good airport to be stuck in with two hour delay of flight. Visit the food court for multiple options to eat and drink. Potbelly rocks. :-) really do miss a Starbucks around.
I got randomly selected for the "screening" they swiped my hands and I hopped the entire security line! No removing of my shoes, liquids or laptop. Easy peasy. Pleasant surprise!

Always, always go to the security line furthest to your left. People naturally go right, which makes it crowded; plus, they put extra staff (or open new lanes!) on the left.
Wipe off seat before you sit. Some cultures finds it perfectly acceptable to put their feet in seats.
If you're stuck here overnight, there is a guest area near A4. Cots, blankets, and pillows are provided. Not ideal, but a decent place to rest. Thank you, Chicago Midway!
There's no wifi of any kind in concourse A, because this is apparently an airport of the past.
