We are trying to check-in and can't get a room yet, so we upgrade for $150 per night to a suite with a king bed and pull out sofa. We get to the suite and it actually has a Murphy bed and no pull out sofa. Still trying to get a room and we just keep waiting. Been trying for 1 hour now! What a joke.

It is situated near magnificent mile a centrally located surrounded by nice shopping area but wifi is charged which is not good .
My family stayed here last week end. we have never stayed in the City before and we were very pleased.After the many bad things we heard we were a bit apprehensive about this hotel.We were welcomed by a woman Danielle, who was very kind and let us know our room was ready even though we were very early arriving because we took a train into Chicago.We had a wedding to get ready for so that a very big plus!! I would never stay at this location ever again. 1. Their valet stole something from my vehicle. I called the general manager Tom about what happen. He told me valet is a contracted company & they basically gave no connection with the Marriott but he would talk to their manager & let me know what happens. A) Never heard back from Tom B) The valet manager called me himself & nothing was solved nor did he ever call me back as he said he would. 2. I have been really impressed with this entire establishment... The rooms are so clean and well laid out, the food is delicious, the bar has a great selection, but most importantly, the staff is absolutely fantastic!!!!!! Every staff member, receptionist, maid service, restaurant staff, and Angel were so courteous & wonderful. Thank you for making our weekend so special!

Upon arrival at the Marriott Chicago we were greeted by the front desk, they were very informative and helpful. We had a while until our room was ready so we went for lunch. When we came back to get our room key and luggage, we were informed that we had free parking, she called another associate over to verify that was the correct code she was telling us about, he confirmed.
