My husband and I have wanted to stop on our way from PA to our daughter in Jacksonville NC but would never time the drive right. We finally did this time and just stopped in around 5 yesterday (tuesday) for a quick drink at the bar...perfect timing...Jeremy the bartender was very friendly. The drinks were awesome and we ordered appetizer of pot pie hand pie which was also very good. We were able to get a seating and had a special waitress - Susan Falkowski. NC shrimp and grits were lovely and a bit different than our SC Lowcountry version. The chop was perfect and the apple ‘chutney’ was sublime atop it.
