I am very out done with this place. I spent 142.51 on four Dinners and left 20.00 cash tip. The waitress had the nerves to add 20.00 for a tip on my card. 40.00 tip? I've always enjoyed my trip to the Cheesecake Factory when visiting the US. Today, my two kids, my girlfriends and myself went to one of the Orlando locations. It wasn't overall crowded and the wait time was expected to be short. My toddler who just turned two had a little melt down because he was hungry. The manager came over to me and instead of being helpful or assistive in any way, asked me to keep it down or leave because there had been complaints. I was in shock. I live in palm beach garden Fl by way if California and Detroit I have been going there for over 35 years all over the country The service is great but the portions of chicken on their Chinese chicken salad is a joke...we have ordered in and eaten at their many restaurants and will not eat there again..it was all lettuce and won tons and very very little chicken. I want to give accolades to Doug Poore in your Denver office. I had a lunch with less than average service and food preparation. I emailed my feedback and Paul responded the next day. He said he had counseled the employee and ask me how he could make up for the experience. His responsiveness and level of professionalism was so impressive, I will overlook my past experience and say the Cheesecake Factory is an excellent organization and I will continue to eat there. You have a real asset of an employee with Doug Poore.
This is regarding the Omaha, NE location. Honey and I have made a couple late evening trips for desert and coffee, this week we went during daylight hours. OMG never again no matter how much we like the food the seating area was filthy. There was food scattered around the areas 5 tables, the hostess brushed crumbs off the seat to set other patrons. We complained the hostess came and sweep around us but no other tables. We asked to speak to the manager and we voiced our complaint and he said they "cleaned when it needed it". ... read more
