I was a day patient yesterday. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They were all lovely and so caring and funny. Made a stressful situation much easier. From reception, to preparation area, to anesthetic staff, to recovery. Couldn't wish for better care. Thank you

I had my first ever surgery today and was feeling very anxious, but I just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks—particularly to the anaesthetic team who looked after me before I was put under. You were all so kind, gentle, and reassuring, and you really helped to calm my nerves at such a vulnerable moment. It made a real difference to my experience, and has given me so much more confidence if I ever need anaesthetic again. CGH is incredibly lucky to have such a compassionate and professional team—thank you so much.
I attended Chedworth Suite for surgery as a day case. Didn't wait long to be called through to my cabin for pre op assessment, my husband was allowed to stay with me until I went for op. The anesthetist and surgeon came to have a chat with me and I was immediately put at ease and measured, they were both lovely and answered any questions I had. I attended Chedworth Surgical Suite for a day case surgery and only have great things to say. The whole day from arriving to going home was simple, relaxed and stress free. Whilst waiting I had a private cabin where I had some pre-op tests and questions, then onto surgery and finally recovery in a clean and comfortable environment. Everyone I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful. You are all a credit to Cheltenham Hospital and the NHS.
