Don't both go to AnE, by the time they try different things. You will probably die. I took my 5yo daughter in with a bad scalp condition after asking to be referred to dermatology repeatedly. I took her to AnE and they where brilliant. But by the time I messed around with the doctor she has now lost her hair on half her head and has a infection under the skin. I am disgusted.
I have been impressed by the service I have received recently from Cheddar Medical Centre. I was able to easily access an urgent on the day appointment after getting through quickly on the phone when I called first thing in the morning. I saw Dr Brimecombe who was kind and knowledgeable. Thank you to all the staff keeping the surgery running.
⭐☆☆☆☆ One star – but only because zero isn’t an option If you’re considering a visit to Cheddar Medical Centre, let me offer a gentle word of advice: save yourself the time and call Cheddar Parish Council instead — at least they’ll help you choose your burial plot in advance, rather than leaving it to your family after having visited this clinic. Honestly, if you need help, go to the pharmacy, call 111, or head straight to A&E. This is, without a doubt, the worst NHS-linked service you will ever come across.
I’ve been coming to this practice on and off for nearly a decade, and I can honestly say the standard of care here is the worst I’ve experienced at any GP surgery. The staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. A serious medical issue of mine was misdiagnosed — something that could have had severe consequences if I hadn’t sought help elsewhere. Awful staff, completely rude. They should sack them all. Some elderly guy walked in with chest pain and they sent him away. If I could review less than 1 star I would.
