Today the spa decided to close even earlier than usual and sent 4 staff to make sure that their guests were not allowed a relaxing end to the evening. It’s a shame that the management is more interested in intimidating its customers than fixing the infestation of drain fly larvae that has plagued the sauna for years. Complaints to Everyone Active about the cleanliness, lack of maintenance, and hostile staff have not been answered.
The spa is now actively hostile to regular members. Both toilets have been out of action for over 6 months. The floors are filthy, the steam room is often broken, and complaints about cleanliness are dismissed. And now having taken my money up front for a year they are closing even earlier at the weekend. Avoid
The actual spa facilities are fine when they are working, but the steamroom has been out of action recently, and the mens changing room floor is consistently sopping wet and dirty. The local staff are nice, but when there is a problem complaints are directed to Everyone Active head office, who are complete shysters. Lola was amazing and really attentive during my facial and massage would highly recommend her to anyone the facilities are nice at chawton park spa havent used the hydro pool yet but will be back to try out
The spa is very small. Pleased it was empty on our arrival. Small changing rooms, 2 showers. The hydro pool was ok. Steam and sauna very large rooms, enough for 10 ppl, maybe more. 3 heated loungers, which are very warm and could easily fall asleep. The showers in changing rooms, need new shower heads. No shower gel/shampoo or conditioner available.
