This bank is criminal. I opened an account there to give them a try and ended up owing them money after depositing money or they were going to put a mark on my credit. I will never use a chase bank again and I will not accept chase bank card or checks at my account. They are a horrible bank. Look at their reviews. I think that is all you need to see.
Opened up a Finn Checking account with the $50 sign-up bonus. A week later, Chase access to my account claiming potential fraudulent activity. After calling them up, account access was restored but they said that they still have to close my Checking and Savings account with them but can open new ones again. However, since I've already had an account with them, they deny the sign-up bonus even though they couldn't explain why my accounts were closed the first time.
I took up a Chase Bank interest-free promotion offer that I received in the mail and paid to have my old credit card account balance transferred to Chase. It was my clear understanding that transfer and new purchases were treated the same and both were included in interest-free 1 year promo. I recently paid off the full balance before the promo ended, expecting to avoid any charges. Chase bank is still manipulating the order of transactions to maximize their ability to charge overdraft fees. I don’t believe that it takes a vendor a couple of days to retrieve their funds after a purchase, which was their excuse. Once I had a charge clear my bank, per my statement, chase went back and deposited the same amount of money back to my account and then 2 weeks later took it back out. Chase bank will not credit back 930 dollars that I had stolen from my account. I have banked with them for 20 years I put over 500,000 though my account every year. they reviewed the charges and determined it to be fraud but I did not report it in 30 days so they will not help. Chase bank sucks!!!!! Never Bank With Chase.

Negative: I have been a customer since the 70's when Chase was called ********. This Bank has very poor customer service. Just today, I wanted to purchase a $25 money order, I have over $30,000 in my account yet they have the nerve to ask $5.00 dollars for a money order. And over the years, they have overcharged me many times in fees. This is one of the most predatory Banks.
I was invited by Chase to apply for Chase Freedom Unlimited credit card. I thought it was invited and I may have a good shot to get approved since my credit score is about 790. When I submitted my application and I was denied on spot. I have to call their customer service to get the answer, and I was told I have too many accounts and they can't approve my application. Chase bank in Avon indiana let a 3rd party cash my 3 year sons Christmas check. Without ID or the parents being present. A police report was filled with no charges being filled. When contacted they refused to help in any way
