We’re absolutely delighted with our new three-storey townhouse built by Chartford Homes. Set in a brilliant location next to the canal in Woodlesford, it offers both peaceful surroundings and great convenience. The build quality is excellent, with a high specification throughout. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with quality appliances, and the bedrooms are generously sized – perfect for family living. There's also ample parking for two vehicles, which is a huge bonus. We couldn’t be happier with our new home!
Left out of pocket following on from a snow fall which damaged our gutters. The man that came to fix it explained that the materials used were cheap and faulty, however Chartford Homes took no accountability, even though it happened to MANY houses on the estate. This can only point to their building work. Very disappointing
I regret purchasing a home from Chartford Homes due to their poor build quality and lack of accountability. After a recent snowfall, the gutters on my property collapsed, along with those of several other houses in the development. Meanwhile, older properties nearby, exposed to the same conditions, remained completely unaffected—proving that substandard materials were used. Terrible build quality, the gutters that have been used on all the houses have come down on more than 20 houses in the Aspect at the Park - LS16 area. But I have tried complaining to them and showed them how many of the gutters that have come down and they don't want to know 😑. Their response was: "I understand your concerns however this is not a matter or defect of Chartford Homes, the weight of the snow has caused damage to various properties, we have written to them informing it is not defective more caused by weather co... read more
We have been to the Burley in Wharfdale site … the woman in the marketing suite opened before we even got to the door and asked ‘what do you want’ … extremely curt and rude … said I couldn’t bring my (assistance) dog round even though I offered to carry her … never been spoken to by someone in customer service so badly … will look elsewhere at houses
