Those who hate on COA had very specific issues and struggles. The majority of people who live here love it. Rent is reasonable (though amending the lease has unusually high fees), the area is well kept and comfortable, the staff is super kind, and they frequently upgrade tiling, sidewalks, parking lots, equipment, etc. My wife and I have lived in a multitude of apartments. This one definitely sits at the top of our apartment favs list!
I lived at charter oaks for 2 years and it was great! Convenient location right next to Meijer and the expressway. I thought rent was very reasonable too. I had a few issues with my fridge and maintenance came out right away and took care of it for me. Jim Blough is a pretty cool dude!
