I do NOT recommend this apartment complex. They only care about you if you pay your rent, and pay their extra fees they give out. It felt as though we only mattered as long as we paid. They are money hungry and if there were things we needed, they NEVER got it done in a timely fashion. I was without drywall in two of our rooms due to a foundation leak from snow for almost a month with my DOG living there where insulation was out in the open. RecommendedElizabeth and the rest of the office staff is professional, courteous, kind and cares about the wants/needs of the residents. Elizabeth took her time showing me several units and wanted to make sure I got what was right for me. Maintenance does a great job with repairs. The community looks great & they have nice swimming pool, as well as a community garden, volleyball and basketball area. They even have bags in certain areas of the community for dog owners. Moved out and received a charge of $1,792 for normal wear and tear charges (carpet and paint) and a bug problem that I didn't have. I was there 6 years, after 3 years I transferred and was only charged $25 for damages. After another 3 years I find a home outside charter oaks and am charged $1,792 for normal wear and tear (both apartments were in pretty similar condition when I left). I’ve been here for a year and I’ve never had to deal with anything stressful. Maintenance is always on top of things, and the office staff are very friendly. They hold events for the residents and they are always keeping the place cleaner up. Definitely a 10/10!
The absolute worst place I have ever lived. Maintenance has unlawfully entered my apartment. The parking lots are riddled with potholes. Units are old and run down, everything breaks and maintenance will either take forever to fix it or just come unannounced into your home. Rates will skyrocket from lease to lease regardless of tenants payment history. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place.
