Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is by far the most unprofessional financial institution that I have ever tried to do business with. I wanted to start up a brokerage account to put together a self run portfolio. In the past I have used Scottrade and TD Ameritrade (after they bought out Scottrade) for this. I figured I would give Schwab a try since they recently acquired TD Ameritrade. I filled out the online process for the account on a Monday with the initial deposit information and everything. Charles Schwab has bad trade execution. They reported my trade as if it was executed 17 seconds later than the moment of execution, consequently I lost my trade exit and lost $25,000 and the shocker that Charles Schwab tried to cover up what they did, they never thought I'll pull the time and sale and find out about it. Bottom line they let me lose because they have bad system.

Charles Schwab has bad trade execution. They reported my trade as if it was executed 17 seconds later than the moment of execution, consequently I lost my trade exit and lost $25,000 and the shocker that Charles Schwab tried to cover up what they did, they never thought I'll pull the time and sale and find out about it. Bottom line they let me lose because they have bad system.

the worse company, they closed my account without any reason or notification. they told me I was put on a blacklist for "interesting activity on my accounts" and closed all my accounts, but are refusing on giving me any more information or reasons. they treated me like a criminal on the phone when I tried to find out what the hell of a reason they have, they wouldn't tell me the reason, but instead kept reading from a piece of paper that they are executing their right to close my accounts.

Horrible company. Lied why they closed my ********* account. I have only one debt I’m current on my payments. Denver cancelled my **** ***, ******* ********* and ********* account. No notifications. Just when I logged in to say I’m making a positive difference it said my finger print wasn’t authorized, my user name was invalid and my passport was invalid. When I called I was told my a representative I’m too poor to be doing business with this ********* and I need a perfect credit score in order to do business with them. I as... read more

Charles Schwab representatives refused assistance when I asked to place a trade. They did not take accountability for failing to place a trade. I placed a trade dispute and was denied compensation before the firm even fully reviewed the dispute. The representatives did not even know the details of the dispute when they told me my request for compensation was denied. Talk about a "full review".... I lost $12,000 because an employee was uncooperative and did not take action at all when I requested a trade . Then another employ... read more
