I have a debit card of Charles Schwab. Though I don't use their investment products, I am 100 percent satisfied with my account and service provided by the bank. When I lost my card while being abroad they have sent me a new one with no charge to the foreign address at the other side of the world. They always pick up the phone with a human helper unlike other banks. I recommend this bank to everyone. Before that, I had Wells Fargo, and run away from them.
Find a missing 401k with proper information for "my safety"
Called the fraud department as i was currently having charges withdrawn from my account after a phone attempt by someone trying to gain access to my account. The first rep TJ sounded very uneducated and must be from India due to his lack of English. As im paniking trying to explain i need my account closed immediately he began to start his script of "how is your day going" "I'm sorry to hear that". One of our partners filed to have a loan issued against shares of stock that she owns. While filing to have it done, she logged out to call her Schwab banker. When she tried to log back on, she was told that she'd been locked out. In trying to fix this issue, she was been told that the account won't be unlocked for three weeks. Schwab won't issue a loan or give a line of credit for the unavailable funds and seem to be absolutely useless. They have their issues here and there, and the fact that they seemingly don't accept cash deposits is absurd. But I reaaally appreciate the helpful and often very quick to get a hold of customer support. That's a dying breed nowadays. Overall I like them and I think customer support is a huge step that shows you care about your customers.
I bought SE LTD on 03/16/21 at $238 and I have proof that Schwab has bought by checking my account history and my fill order and they show in my live account the cost of $259.85. The main issue with Schwab is their system is full of virus and bugs...and even now, when I check all completed fill order...it shows only the one I have today, all others are gone. Opened up an account and tried to sign in one day And they locked me out of my account saying too many failed attempts on logging in but when I called they said they had no log of any failed login attempts. While attempting to reset my password, asking random security questions I have never been asked before or when signing up the account. Obviously my email & other credentials match or I wouldn't have the option to reset the password at all. Now I I want to liquidate because I don't trust the platform at all. Very fishy!
TOO BIG TO CARE?. For the last few years I have been parking my retirement savings in a 401K and a Roth accounts with Charles Schwab and only trading a few times total. Have use charles schwab over 10 years now start last years their website StreetSmart edge have million of tech problem. i bought few stock and put on bracket order the market hit the price that I set for my order but streetsmart edge never trigger my order few time already. and it take few week for them to solve the problem.and i have to call them many time.worse company
