The first charger I tried was marked out of offer. The second accepted my card but wouldn't start a charge. By the time I got to the third, my bank had marked the multiple payments and instant refunds as suspicious and I had to call to get my card unblocked. Finally the charger accepted my card... and told me my MG5 was an "unauthorised vehicle". Might be great if you have a Tesla but otherwise, avoid!
Arrived yesterday for a quick top up charge to get home. Only one bay in use when we arrived, One of the easiest set-ups to charge car I’ve used. Instructions on machine. Simply plug in, tap card and after a couple of minutes will start charging and there is a button to stop charging when done. I actually did it the other way around, tapped card, plugged in, but it still worked. KFC and McDonalds close by, whilst waiting and both had very clean toilets.
Actual garbage, turned up to one free, plugged in and wouldn't work, called support, they rebooted the whole bank, took 2 more out of service and the one I was trying still wouldn't work
Turned up yesterday and all 4 not working. Phoned the helpline and nobody answered. Quite a few people stuck so will be avoiding from now on.
Card reader virtually always fails.
