It is convenient and seems cheap. Gentle walk to co op for a few items. Took a few attempts to disconnect (card reader) Needs contactless card and for some reason one of mine didn't work so it's probably a good idea to have a spare. Also 31/10/24 was the cheapest I found at 30p/KWh
Limited to 45 minutes stay and no return within 90 minutes. Other than that no problems.
Couldn't get it working with plain contactless payment. Downloaded the app, setup a direct debit, got further but it still wouldn't actually charge once connected.
Didnt work with charge place card or bank card
One of the best chargers I've used. Lots of instructions on the monitor telling you what to do. You don't need the Charge Place Scotland app, or an RFID - both of these are optional, and will likely get you a better rate per kw/h. I used contactless, plugged in, and topped up from 40% to 80% in 40 minutes.
