Poor quality charger, only half the rated speed. Cuts out constant ending charging sessions at ransom and sometimes takes a full payment without even starting a session, won't be using again as there's cheaper chargers not far and for 3x the speed there's better chargers for only slightly more
Price per kWh has jumped from 30p to 70p in a year. Machines give half the advertised speeds even when other charging stations are empty.
I’ve used these chargers a few times now, and each experience has been consistently pleasant. The stations are incredibly easy to use, with clear instructions that make them very user-friendly, even for new EV owners like myself. I’ve never encountered any issues, and the entire charging process has always been smooth from start to finish. Waste of space honestly
The app said one of the three "fast" chargers was out of order with another one in use. Tried to use other functioning one, wouldn't activate via the app, wouldn't activate via RFID and the contactless payment was disabled. This isn't the first time having problems with these chargers. They don't seem to function properly at all. The app is clunky and slow. It may cost more to use other chargers but at least those services actually work. Avoid ChargePlace Scotland
