Bought a 2023 CF-Moto ZFORCE Trail 950 back in June and since I owned it, everytime I take it out both headlights fogged up. CF-Moto states it's the atmosphere. I've owned from other manufacturers and not once hear that nor had issues with them fogging up! Dealer said the same!

Business response:

Thanks for your feedback on the headlights. The headlight design includes a small vent in the rear of the light as other brands have. If water gets into that vent, "fogging" can end ** in the light. Generally speaking, we don't hear about this much. Most users are ok avoiding submerging the unit too deep and avoiding directing water into those vents with a hose or pressure washer while cleaning the unit. Hopefully these hints help! Thanks again for your feedback.

We bought a brand new 2022 CFMOTO 800 and we have had so many problems we keep taking it back to the dealership and they keep reaching out to cmf moto and they keep giving us the runaround they have had it in the shop more than we have had it home I will never buy from them again

Business response:

Hello, We are sorry that you had a bad experience after purchasing this unit. After looking up your vehicle, it appears that the dealership thought they had it fixed but it needed some additional parts replaced after the first attempt. We apologize for the inconvenience but believe that the unit has been fixed to meet your expectations, all covered under the warranty. We hope you have years of great riding ahead!!

I bought a 2022 CFMOTO UFORCE **** on 6/28/23. As soon as I got it home and took it on a ride the break fluid leaked out by the back tires. They did fix it but I was with out it for over 2 months waiting on parts. I was happy with it after that until the same thing happened again the beginning of June 2023. I called the dealer where I got it and told them what happened. They said it was still under warranty and would be covered. They got me in June 22nd and I got a call the same day saying CFMOTTO would not cover it because ... read more

Business response:

It's unfortunate that your unit experienced this. In reviewing this case with the dealer notes and our internal Warranty team, we stand by the assessment that the vehicle was driven while the brake was engaged. In this case, both rear brake calipers failed. This is a key indicator that the brake was engaged while driving since both failing on their own at the same time would be extremely unlikely. We asked the dealer if they found evidence of any other reason why the brakes would have failed due a manufacturing defect and th... read more

I recently bought a 2018 z force 800 trail. It had 300 miles on it. Our first trip out the steering went out causing my daughter and her friend to crash and roll the machine. After looking at the cause a piece in the metal casting in the steering mechanism failed and broke but guess what since its not the 12 month warranty cf moto doesnt care to do anything. Luckily my daughter and her friend didnt suffer any major injuries but I would never buy a cf moto again.

Business response:

If the *** could be provided from the vehicle, that would help us to understand this vehicle's history. The first owner of the vehicle may have damaged the vehicle while they owned it. We do not have a history of these units with broken steering components. The unit is 4 years out of the warranty period so the denial of warranty coverage is standard for any manufacturer.

I purchased two CF MOTO 600 Touring. They are described as comfortable and reliable. On Day 3 of ownership my red one caught fire while my son and I were riding. I PULLED into my Garage and saw fire blazing next to my knees. The brake line was burning. I rush indoors with my son and grab some baking soda to extinguish the fire. It only gets larger. Next, I try a towel. The fire barbeques my towel!Last chance before I have to call the fire department because the fire is still going strong and the vehicle is parked in my *****... read more

Business response:

We are sorry to hear about your situation. When both brakes show this issue at the same time, it is an indication that the vehicle was being driven with the brakes at least partially applied. This is not a manufacturer defect and is not covered by warranty.

2021 Cfmoto CForce ************************************************ where I wanted to go. At **** mikes and a little over 100 hours the rear differential is toast along with the clutch bearing. To repair this and replace the belt is $3000. A 20 month old machine with a repair bill just under what the dealer I purchased it from said it was worth. That's a bit ridiculous. I have not modified the unit with oversized tires or anything that could cause this type of problem. It has never been under water or used as a submarine. No... read more

Business response:

It is unfortunate that this customer has experienced trouble with their CFMOTO product. The unit is well beyond the 12-month warranty period and is not eligible for coverage. CFMOTO stands behind our product with a 12-month warranty which is two times longer than what most of our competitors offer for a warranty period. We would advise the customer to discuss the best path forward for repair with their local dealer.

I bought a 2022 ** Moto Cforce 500 back in January of 2023. I paid extra for extended warranties . My first problem was the fuse box and fuses were not tightened down properly and was causing the machine to shut off randomly. Then the first time I use my winch I find the cable for the winch was never installed properly and now I have to pay out of my own pocket to have it fixed. I called the ** moto company and got nothing as far as a good answer. They had me pay an extra 400 dollars for extended warranties for what ? They d... read more

Business response:

Hello, An initial search was not able to find a CFORCE500 unit registered under either *** or *******. If you purchased your product in January 2023, any manufacturer's defect would be covered under the warranty at any CFMOTO dealer. Your extended warranty would go into effect after the end of the regular warranty. If the issues you saw were found to be due to mis-use or abuse, those would not be covered. If you submit your Vehicle Identification Number, that *** help ** find your unit and determine what happened.

Purchased a cforce 500s 2 months ago and while driving the bolts holding the drive shaft to the differential started coming loose and cracked the differential housing. CF **** refuses to pay for a replacement under warranty saying it was from misuse. I told them that the bolts came loose and the repeatedly said that it was not going to be covered. Every question that I asked the answer from them was it will not be covered. We started taking the bolts out and found no lock tight on bolts to hold them in while riding. I feel t... read more

Business response:

Regarding the warranty claim that was denied. During the dealer's inspection and diagnostic process, the unit showed indications of misuse/abuse that were not caused by a manufacturer defect. With that being the case, the claim was appropriately denied. The unit can certainly be repaired at the dealership at regular dealer prices.
