I am extremely disappointed with CeX Waterford. They openly sell Italian and French versions of games in their glass display case as if they’re rare collector’s items, but when you try to trade those exact same games back in, they suddenly refuse to accept them. I bought Italian games directly from this store, finished them, and then attempted to trade them in — only to be told they won’t take foreign-language versions. Absolutely useless. New premises why nothing improved at all. Telling me a monitor in stock for to collect and the chap is so young you would think he could use computer or a phone. They have a Dublin phone no but no you can't get anyone to answer this crowd need to be moved from Waterford. Bring back GameStop.
I had a bad experience trying to buy a phone in CeX I went in with my teenage son to buy an iPhone, and the whole experience was really disappointing. The staff member was very reluctant to take the phone out so I could even look at it, and then refused to take out a second one to check it. She said her managers don’t allow phones to be taken out for customers to inspect. Absolutely p'eed off, says it's open til 6 and 3 times we have went and it was closed, fix your opening hours or we won't bother going ever again!!!!!!!! And I mean for the new cex down by MC Donald's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son was so excited to spend his money there , until we realized it was closed at 4.50pm on Sunday my son cried for hours after that!!!!!
Love this place, Wexford, Waterford, wherever. Always helpful always know what they are talking about and always have what I am looking for.
