I've always received proper care here. Sometimes even got treated and sent home faster, for being on time. Very happy with the dental department. Thank you.
After almost 3 months, I have finally gotten 95% of my dental work approved and taken care of. I am still waiting on the final step to be reviewed, but I want to give thanks to a great Veterans Representative for going the extra mile to ensure that I was taken care of.
It took 3 years to get an appointment. It then took about 4 hours of my time to sit around until I decided that I was done. Don't bother going here.
The reason overscheduling is done is because some patients do not appear for their appointments and do not inform the hospital or clinic about this in time to reschedule the other patients. The desk calculates a certain number of these a day, but it is a prediction and therefore not certain. When patients do show up regularly on a given day, an "overbooking" has occurred and there are delays.
The VA Clinic at Cedar Park is bad news! On several occasions I complained about blood in my urine and Dr. Davi kept telling me it was fine and showed nothing negative. Four months later I find out I have bladder cancer. It was never suggested to see a Urologist. Both Doctors at this clinic do nothing but schedule exams. This has to be the worst facility I have ever visited.
We were treated well by all staff we had contact with at the VA hospital; including the officer that helped me not go in circles. I stayed there three days with Steven and wondered why they had low ratings. Based on my first experience, I give them five stars. Thanks for treating us with kindness, co mpassion, and good quality care. Our visit was earlier this year.
