Typical experience at the va. Over promise and under deliver.
My husband just got a mental illness diagnosis from and evaluation 2 years ago. As we waited for that diagnosis to learn how to navigate coping skills and educate ourselves on communication and rehabilitate our lives fell apart. The VA has failed us in so many ways. They could improve by not doing what they are doing now. I feel like we have no advocate in them and that relying on healthcare for my spouse from them gives me hopelessness.
I have had nothing but positive experiences from the Temple VA.
They have a lot of construction always going on, but the main new building 204 is nice. Pharmacy waits can sometimes take a bit, but considering how busy not bad.
Here as a veteran you treated like royalty compared to north Texas VA. It’s worth the drive
I have always had decent care at the VA. Some people's needs are greater than others and so their experiences with the VA are complex. Some people can NEVER be satisfied. I'm just thankful I have somewhere to go if I need to.
