I have eaten a cheeseburger with an egg on it before. It was NOT BAD BUT ALSO NOT GREAT ...AT BEST mediocre. The Cheeseburger I had at this place was so good. The thing is I never asked for the egg sunny side up because I have disliked how other spots have made it. They finished handing my table the meals and I saw the egg. Best burgers around great service we love to come for the happy hour specials
Everything was perfect! My tuna and egg salad sandwich was fantastic, including the rye bread! The crust had the perfect chew! Fries were great. Sue was raving about her cheeseburger and the homemade potato chips! Service was great, too! I used to eat at the original Cassell's back in the 1960's and 1970's. Although this incarnation is very different than the original, it's really fantastic and should be checked out...even by the skeptical. You'll be pleasantly surprised! GO!
