Quit complaining about the wait and call in an order to go. – I love this pizza. My fiance and I have been addicted since our first bite. The sauce is so tasty and delicious, I think they put cr**k in it. I can't get enough of the homemade sausage and fresh sliced garlic pizza, it is outrageously good. I agree that the wait is normally insane, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. You have to know this going in, and accept it. What we have resolved to do in order to get our pizza fix is to get it to go instead. We call i... read more
1 on a scale of 10 would be highly over rating this place. – We went on a Tuesday night. Long wait to be seated and then poor service. Some items allow substitutions. I asked for Pesto sauce (which they serve with Linguini) on Linguini and Clams (which allows substitutions). They would not make the substitution for some unexplained reason. My wife ordered a Pizza. It was one of the worst we have ever had. It was extremely greasy with a tasteless sauce. I would never go again. Like the old gag, ?The service is terrible but yo... read more
I Love it!!! – I love this pizza! But if you're expecting Pizza Hut or numero uno, you're in for a shock. Gone is the grease, the pasty sauce and stringy cheese. Instead, The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is great, and the toppings taste delicious. The cheese was also very fresh. Another positive is the pizza was not dripping with oil like some other places. The anti pasta salad and the garlic bread are my favorites!! The service is friendly. I think this place has proved the test of time, in a city where people have p... read more
My all-time fave! – Make your wait useful by walking a couple blocks to Trader Joe's (closes at 9pm) and pick up some wine to go with your pizza. Make sure to add garlic to your toppings--you won't regret it!!! Eggplant and garlic is a great combination for you veggie eaters. The pasta arrabiata (=angry, therefore it is quite spicy!) is to die for, as is the bruschetta. Mmmmm!!!
Tastes like Pizza Hut – After waiting for a half hour to be seated on a Wednesday night, I was completely disappointed by the pizza and eggplant parmigiana. As an earlier reviewer mentioned, they use canned mushrooms on the pizza. How hard is it to use real mushrooms? The eggplant was also boring and flavorless. If you want amazing pizza and the best eggplant I've ever had, go to Pinocchio's in Burbank. There's no wait and the food is so much better.
overrated. don't waste your time. – why the high ratings... i have NO idea. i get better pizza from CPK. this place is not worth the hype at all. the crust was thin, but the ingredients were of bad quality. I didn't think you can actually mess up a hawaiian pizza. we also had some pastas and they were bland. mine (i believe it was their special baked pasta) was the best, but by far nothing to be excited about. for pasta, i will recommend celestino or angelini. pizza... try petrillo's!
Um...what? This place is so over rated. Go to Palermo's Instead. – I lived in Eagle Rock for years. This place always has a line. For what I will never know. The servers are rude and inattentive. I went with a mixed group. Pizza was like card board. No flavor. What a rip off. We tried it a 2nd time and that was even worse. Keep driving up the hills to Los Feliz and visit Palermo's instead.
Incredible Pizza for Los Angeles – I'm a NY pizza snob transplant to LA and I have been in dire need for good pizza. Most pizza around town is just god-awful. Its all wrong. My girlfriend and I were told about Casa Bianca and how it is easily the best pizza in LA. We decided to go last night and we had to wait 45 minutes. No problem. You can tell by its outside character thats its going to be a serious italian food experience. Once we got in, it felt cozy and warm. We ordered the brushetta, drank some wine that we brought in... read more
Great pizza, if you can wait – I love the crispy crust pizza at Casa Bianca. I have lived in the Eagle Rock area for several years and always find myself at Casa Bianca when I want good thin crust pizza. IF you live anywhere near Eagle Rock, call ahead for takeout and save yourself the trouble of waiting in line. The spaghetti dishes are not worth the wait. Although, the Eggplant Parmesian is very thinly sliced, crispy and smoothered in cheese.
Casa Bianca Pizza has a 4.6 star rating with 1,328 reviews.
