I seriously cannot believe people thing this is the best – I meannnnnnnnn cmon. How on earth is this the best pizza??? It's good in a Costco /Chuck -e- cheese kinda way. Its beyond greasy. I think a lot of people like it because it touches on their WT(white trash) side. Canned veggies? Save yourself some time and go to Barones Pizza in the valley.
delicious extra cheese pizza! – A long wait and drive slightly detracted from the delicious pizza and friendly staff. Their pizza with extra cheese was the best I?ve had in LA and we were able to order beers through the hostesses while we waited for our table.
what a waste – I always want to try out this place because of all the buzz. Me and my husband stopped by lunch time, then find the place only opens for dinner. We went around 4:45pm Saturday again and there is a loooong waiting list. An hour later, we had a table. good pizza – Long, long, long waits, but great pizza... & all around Italian restaurant. Has that Sinatra feel yet loud & busy & overrun with kiddies. Even to go takes 2 yrs but the pizza is worth it...
Excellent Italian Food – This Eagle Rock institution is always crowded -- for good reason. Everything is scrumptious, from the homemade minestrone soup to the pizzas and pastas. I'm particularly fond of the linguine clams in red sauce; there are plenty of clams and the sauce is wonderfully garlicky. Are you kidding, this place is the BEST – I love Casa Bianca. Its not East Coast Pizza for sure, but sort of it's own deal. Yes the wait is long, but part of the reason I love to go here is to sit in the crowded lobby, drink some wine and talk with friends before dinner. The pizza itself is amazing, I recommend an eggplant and meatball pie, and the prices are awesome. But what really makes Casa is its awesome staff. In short this place is my favorite place in all of LA not only for pizza but as a restaurant in general.
RUDE OWNERS! BAD PIZZA, CANNED MUSHROOMS!! OVERPRICED – Totally shocked to see they used disgusting canned mushrooms on their pizza, even dominos wouldn't do this! In fact I don't know anywhere in S. California that would use canned flavorless mushrooms, and this is a key pizza topping! The cheese was also absolutely flavorless! overpriced for what you get!! YOU CANNOT USE CHEAP SUBSITUTES FOR A GOOD PIZZA!
Not Worth It – My wife and I went her strictly on the advice of the rave reviews from this website. True the place is a quaint, italian-american hole-in-the-wall, true there is a long wait for a table, but false that the pizza is anything but mediocre. Not worth the time – The wait was awful, and the cashiers were rude. I don't recommend this place at all, not worth the time. Can Mushrooms, oh my gosh how sad can you get. The Linguine was tasteless. I would not go back again.
