General – I grew up in the 50s going to Casa Bianca and Jinny and Sam have worked hard at making great food--themselves--for all these years. The lines on a Friday night speak for the place. Casa Bianca is to Italian as El Tepayac (Manuel's) in East LA is to Mexican--wonderful.

Costco's Pizza's better – Sorry Guys. After so much hoopla, we went and could not be more disappointed with the bland cheese, tasteless crust and imitation Canadian Bacon topping... beer was cold though!... Want a great pizza?...not NYC but great?....Go to Farfalla on Hillhurst in Los Feliz....

hot staff, better pizzas – This family-run restaurant is always packed, and with good reaason. The servings are hefty, the food's delicious, and the staff is fun and friendly. It's a bright spot in the hole that is Eagle Rock. -Heather G.

gross, gross, gross! – Their pizza is soggy and tasteless. The dough is bad, the sauce tastes straight out of a can, and they only have boring toppings. Their pasta isn't any better. I think the only reason they keep showing up on this 'best of' list is for their teenage waitresses in the supershort miniskirts.

Eagle Rock's least kept secret – The best and still going strong. Variety is the life of a good Pizza place and Casa Bianca offers so many variations that one would have to go everyday for a month to sample them all. Give it a try and you will not deny: It is simply the best.

More to Pizza than Pizza – From the time you arrive at Casa Bianca there is a sense of something special. Surely the seemingly endless throngs that brave the wait can't be wrong. This is not the sterile, cookie cutter pizza joint. Rather, it becomes a state of mind. Good friends, lively conversation, cheap wine and economically priced menu items are the highlights of this eatery. The antipasto and Italian sausages are great. Service always prompt and often by a member of the family. The coffee IS Superb, including the decaf.... read more

NO WAY! – This whole pizza pie was cut into little triangles about 3 inches each!! who cuts pizza like that? not in new york! not only was the crust moist and soggy, the pizza didn't even taste good.

You're Kidding!! – Let me understand, you warn against the "flavorless, gummy pastas" you warn about the canned ingredients. So how did this place rate as one of the best in town? Unfortunately I had read previous rateings raving about this place that did not mention the canned ingredients and I love mushroom pizza, but nowadays who thinks to ask if a pizzaria uses canned mushrooms? And the crust is so perfectly symetrical and tasteless I have to believe its a pre-made frozen crust. Do you let restaurants write their own rev... read more
