Business response:
We apologize for the difficulty you have had making an appointment and the miscommunication that we had regarding your check up. We do strive to be better and are working on many ways to improve communication regarding appointments like email or text message appointment reminders. We love Apex Peds, especially Dr. Steele!! We went in for a walk in sick appointment this morning at the Apex location and was in and out in 15 minutes! Thank you for your wonderful care!
The peds centers are placed conveniently as needed, practitioners are friendly and usually available same day for sick appointments.
My children are 8 & 11 years old and have been under the care of Apex Peds since the day they were born. Hands down the best pediatric practice you will find in the triangle. Exceptional people at each facility and a tenured staff of Doctors that exemplify professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner. They are excellent communicators with the children and parents alike.
While I really like the two doctors my kids see regularly, there are a few we didn't sit well with. An appointment was scheduled incorrectly once, which was hard with twins. Overall, I'm pretty content with the practice but not thrilled.
I will be transferring my children's care to a different practice. On Sunday, my 16 month old was having difficulty breathing. I called the after hours number (the first and only time I've called during off hours) and was instructed by a nurse (not even a doctor) to take him to the ER. When I took him to the office today as a follow up to his visit to the ER, I was hit with $15 fee for calling on a Sunday. In my opinion, this is a horrible business practice. I am very disappointed in this practice and will be taking my child... read more
I love every doctor that my daughter has seen at Fuquay Pediatrics. They are all so helpful and delightful. That said, the front desk staff (well, two of them) are less than helpful and very rude. On multiple occasions, I have had a not so pleasant encounter with these ladies. It takes me so long to get an appointment made, and to have my child seen (for an appointment made well in advance at that!), today will most likely be her last appointment at Fuquay Peds.
