Dr. Carson diagnosed an autoimmune disorder that was affecting my gastrointestinal tract. I had previously seen many (many!) doctors for the symptoms over two years. Dr. Carson was able to look at my symptoms and suggested a possibility that was confirmed with tests and because of this, I can treat it and enjoy a quality of life for now and in my later age. I am very thankful and continue my care with her; she is attentive and a good explainer, she is knowledgeable and personable.
I firmly believe Dr. Kelly Carson is very knowledgeable in her specialty. However, she had no compassion for me and always seemed to be mad at the world. She wouldn't let me talk without talking over me.
Canceled an appointment and hour before I was supposed to be there.
I was Dr. Carson's patient for 4-5 years. I was previously diagnosised with IBD and have been on medicine for 25 years. She began having less and less time to see me and said she was very busy. She was rude, dismissive and in my opinion negligent. She threatened me with liver or kidney failure but never treated my new symptoms. When I questioned her she asked me not to come back. After leaving her practice I discovered the condition causing my symptoms. I would not recommend her to anyone.
Went to her for stomach pains, awesome Dr. She listened, asked questions, gave recommendations of what she wanted to do test wise. Asked if I had any questions, explained things to a T. I recommend her and her professionalism for anyone suffering from pain in the abdomen area. Since seeing her I'm pain free and I got a lot of answers to what I need to do.
Listen up people, I have been to 4 Gastroenterologist Doctors with no relief from having IBS for over 25 years. Dr Kelly Carson finally helped me. She is the best. She listens, provides you as the patient with treatment options, and offers excellent medical advice and care. I highly recommend her to everyone. Go and see her for yourself.
I did not have a good experience my first visit , so I went to another doctor for my tests. I thought Dr Carson was very cold, distant and uninterested in my problems and concerns.
Dr. Carson is rude and did not care to figure out what is wrong with my aunt. She just wanted to blame it all on her. When talking to her about issues, she wouldn't let me speak after I listened to her. Run! Find another doctor!!!
I was very impressed with Dr. Carson and have highly recommended her to family and friends. She questions, listens, provides answers, and is not only competent but confident, a trait I like in my doctor. My experience with her was one of the best that I have had with any physician ever and I trust her judgement. She is not arrogant and will respect you if you respect her. I would not have any reservations choosing her, and hope you will have as good an experience as I have!
