Carson Kelly L MD 5669 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd #210, Atlanta, GA 30342 Gastroenterologist Place details Kelly Carson was recommended to me by my Internal Medicine Physician when I needed my first colonoscopy over 12 years ago. She was very patient and thorough in explaining the procedure and results. This was very comforting given the fact that this is not a procedure anyone looks forward to! I recommend Dr. Carson anytime someone is looking for a Gastroenterologist.

Kelly is an amazing doctor. She has been my doctor for over 10 years and even helped me through a cancer diagnosis. She is kind, knowing, very up to date on the latest in medications and testing, and always available to explain all of it to me. I have referred so many friends to her, she calls them Debra's Clan!

I have been under Dr. Carson's care since 2007. I have referred multiple friends of all ages to her, as well as family. She is a gifted diagnostician. She is direct and keeps her focus on healing the patient. She is always current on the latest developments in gastroenterology, and this paid essential dividends in my case. She is outstanding and I recommend her highly.

Dr. Carson has been treating my challenging UC condition for the past 12 years. She has been exceptionally thorough in every exam. I have additional health issues that make my care and treatment plan unique. Dr. Carson has exhausted all professional resources to make sure my healthcare plan not only relies on evidence-based medicine, but is also indivually developed between her and I. Soon I will be moving out of the state and I plan drive back to Atlanta to continue being seen by Dr. Carson.

Dr. Carson performed a colonoscopy on me one year ago, so when I started having paralyzing pains in my lower abdomen, I called for an appointment. She worked me in, scheduled me for a CT scan that same day, and then diagnosed me with diverticulitis. Dr. Carson is very thorough with her explanation of her diagnosis, what one should and shouldn't do and what one should expect moving forward. While she's a bit detached in her bedside manner, she is extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend her

I have seen Dr. Carson 4 or 5 times for IBS. She has never seemed rushed and always however much time it takes to answer questions. Very thorough. I found her to be personable and kind. She was recommended to me by a Emory doctor who is planning on using her because his has retired. Her staff is very efficient and personable. I left my previous gastroenterologist mainly because of his front office people.

Dr. Carson diagnosed an autoimmune disorder that was affecting my gastrointestinal tract. I had previously seen many (many!) doctors for the symptoms over two years. Dr. Carson was able to look at my symptoms and suggested a possibility that was confirmed with tests and because of this, I can treat it and enjoy a quality of life for now and in my later age. I am very thankful and continue my care with her; she is attentive and a good explainer, she is knowledgeable and personable.

I firmly believe Dr. Kelly Carson is very knowledgeable in her specialty. However, she had no compassion for me and always seemed to be mad at the world. She wouldn't let me talk without talking over me.
