RecommendedBeautiful location, clean , upgraded our rooms.
We came in on a last minute stay with a family of 6. First we checked in to our room and someone left Dirty underwear behind the door. Then we go eat at the outdoor grill the service was horrible we waited like 45 minuets to get drinks....... so you can imagine how long it took for the food. The bathroom are very small, above the shower as all mildewed and the tub took forever to drain. The outdoor pool was very small ,no chairs available. I love the hotel but the room is to hot
The Crystal Beach hotel is excellent but the manager Matt James is lacking at his job. Customer service should always be his priority and clearly this guy failed at his job. We were here July 16th for a few day stay, had a complaint, left message with front desk for mgr. to contact me while I was still on premesis, never happened, called his office leaving voice mails several times after our departure, no return phone call. Well this could be a long one! Firstly actually fix things! Second get some managers that actually care about the customers and the experience! Three get some employees that actually know what they are doing! Four your so called maintenance men have no idea what they are doing what so ever! I will never come back there again. We stay here when we come to OC. Always great. Food always good. Staff always good. Our Daughter and Husband stay here also. Always pleased and we will all return next year.
Disappointed this year. Have stayed here a few years in the past never any problems. This year bathroom door wouldn't close. Maintanence came up twice and still didn't close all the way. Fire alarm at 2:30am no explanation why it went off. No staff helping people get out or telling them to evacuate. No one gave the ok to go back in we just followed everyone else. No power on Friday night - no ac, no TV, no working elevators apparently due to transformer that blew. No one from management was available to talk and no discount ... read more
The worst experience I have ever had at a hotel before. I bought 2 rooms that were oceanfront and ground level and they gave us 2 balcony rooms. one room was a quarter of a balcony and they refused to fix their mess up. We got here today and booked back in MARCH! AC is broken and the fridge doesn't work. If there was a negative rating I would give it to them!
This hotel is WAY WAY WAY too expensive for what it is. This should be about $100/ night in peak. It is dirty and old. The customer service is horrible. I will never stay here again. There are way better hotels in OC.
