We stayed in room 262 last night, the door does not close properly unless you slam it, the courtyard area inside was full of bins to catch the many leaks, both pools were closed, and this morning there were actually ducks swimming in the outdoor pool. The tile inside the door is incredibly slick when you have to walk across the wet outdoor walkway to get to the room, all of us had to catch ourselves from falling on several occasions coming into the room. BEWARE!!!!!!!!! First and foremost they CHARGED my credit card THREE separate times when only one charge was authorized. Secondly the sheets looked like they had never been changed from the previous guest, there was BODILY FLUIDS on them. Also the couch had literal SHIT on it and the bathroom had SCUM all over it. I’m not the type of person to write a public bad review, however I would just like to forewarn people this place does bad business and is a real pigpen!
So many things to do! Movies on the beach, ice skating, family photos, indoor and outdoor pools! This is my favorite place to come when down the Ocean! Alwyas clean, and always friendly!

Have you ever booked a hotel online, gone to check in, told you were scammed and then the hotel does not help you at all?!?! That’s what happened to us with the Carousel group. They said they can’t help the site we used was a scam, yet you are able to book their hotel on the site. My husband was asked to leave the hotel because when I called (from home) to help him figure it out and see if they could accommodate us in anyway, they were dismissive and said they could “help us” by booking for full price. This Review is for the Carousel Group's Tidelands hotel. If I could zero stars I would! The front desk gave our room number out to a stranger! I am lucky to be alive right now to be writing this! I came back from the pool to find a guy, from the pool bar, stalking us in our hallway (two girls alone on vacation) claiming we had a tab open! The Gentalman in the suit at the front desk was very nice and helpful also called and asked for more blankets and they arrived quickly , the people working the inside pool exspecially the young curly haired boy ( night time ) work hard busy busy . However the TV had an annoying line that went down the while screen and the beds are hard to get into for older guest and the mattress is like sleeping on a brick even my 10 yr old grandson complained about how hard it was I think I got 3 hrs sleep . Attempted to move my reservation due to a family illness but because it’s not within 72 hours they refused to help saying “we will charge you no matter if you come or not and we can’t move your stay to a different weekend”! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve never had a hotel refuse to at least move your stay to a different date. I didn’t even ask for a refund just a change.
