I had a suite for the night of my wedding and was extremely disappointed. Over priced, dirty, dingy, whirlpool tub would not shut off, cigarette butts on the balcony, very "old." Expected a whole lot more for the price paid and reputation of hotel!
After reading some negative reviews I was really nervous about staying there, but we were THRILLED. Nice clean suite, plenty of space, very accomodating, polite staff everywhere we went. Loved the view from our balcony! Parking was always available, which is shocking since we were there mid-August and the ppols were packed! No complaints.

I did an overnight stay just to check it out after staying on the boardwalk a few nights with my family. Overall the place was decent and the rooms looked nice. The staff was cool except this one person by the pool, she was so rude and I was just confused by her mannerisms and how she spoke to me. I didn't get her name but I wish I did to report her uncalled behavior. I would stay here again but if I run into the pool girl .....�����
We enjoyed our stay! Very friendly staff and they have about everything here. This place stays booked and some people complain no matter what so I say it's very nice and has a lot to offer! I would definitely stay again!

Year after year we stay at the Carousel and everything has always been perfect! This year would have been perfect if I could have bypassed the checkin desk. I make my oceanfront room reservation in February for the same week in August. I do request a room over the pool or bar area, which has never been a problem. This year we arrived around 2pm and advised the desk that we were there and going to eat at the patio bar.they were to call when the room was ready. Waited until 3:45, no call so returned to checkin. The hotel rooms may be great (don't know, seems like it from other reviews), but we stayed in one of the two bedroom condos which are apparently privately owned but managed by Carousel. The ocean front room with the king size bed was ok except that the mattress was like a rock, but the other bedroom was clearly set up for kids with bunk beds and another full size bed crammed into one room. We absolutely love the Carousel!!! My children are just in heaven here. So much for them and us to do as well. My kids loved the game room and skate shows. The skaters also were excited to sign autographs for both my kids. They also loved the inside pool a lot. We loved the tiki bar and grill area. Over all this place is just amazing and we will be here every year!!! Thank you to all the staff for making our vacation so enjoyable. Great work guys!!!

This was the best vacation we had due to where we stayed, The Carousel! Took our granddaughters and they loved the ice skating shows every night, meeting the professional ice skaters and they took there time to take a picture with them and each one signed their poster. The customer service was A+. If it rains, don't worry so much to do. We went from the ocean to the outside pool to the inside pool! The live entertainment by the restaurant, pool area was perfect.
