Wonderful stay. Clean room. Will definitely stay there again.
We have stayed here many times before. This time we experienced electrical problems in our room that could not easily be resolved. Mary, the desk manager (9-13-17) was more than accommodating. She immediately moved us to a beautiful condo for the rest of our stay. We were able to celebrate my husbands birthday in a gorgeous setting with a stunning view from the twentieth floor! The room looked clean but really wasn't . Put my hand on the bathroom sink and it was slime. Went to eat at the Reef and the food was not very good at all. I have booked before and never had this problem before .Also there was some awful smells in the lobby and hall ways. The staff was nice but I think the place needs a good cleaning and update. They still have water problems leaking from the ceilings and the pool was closed as well as the fitness room. Must say will have to think before I book again.
I love going to the Carousel. However my last visit wasn't so fun. The music by the pool wS so loud and the choice of music was awful. In addition, it was very irratating when I wanted to get into the pool it was FILLED with toddlers. Jumping, screaming and splashing. Isn't that why there is a kiddie pool? I hope when I return it is a more pleasant experience.
The Carousel Group is a joke. The place we stayed in ( Coastal Palms) looked so nice on line. When we got there, the rooms weren't even clean, the back porch had so much water on it from the AC unit leaking that we couldn't even go out there. And the water had been sitting there for so long, that is was all green and moldy. The pull out couch mattress had blood stains all over it and my friends room didn't even have pillow cases.
