I can’t thank Carol enough for what she has done for me in the 18 months that I saw her. She validated how I was feeling, she heard me, saw me and understood me in a way that no one else had done. I received therapy from Carol over 1.5 years. I think I went into the process thinking it would “fix” me and somehow erase the trauma so that I was like a “normal person”. Obviously this hasn’t happened but I’ve learnt so much about the reason that I am the way I am, and I have so much compassion and understanding for myself rather than self-loathing or shame.
