i went to carmax a few days ago i wasn't going there to buy a car but only to window shop. i walked in and was greeted by Jorge not but everyone who worked there trying to sale me a car. it a was very welcoming car buying experience. he was nothing but professional and he really listened to me and what i was looking for in a car Including price range and payment. I went today (September 20, 2018) to let them know that my 2016 Volvo that I bought from them last October has a problem (paint started cracking above the bumper, which is not normal for a newer car). They didn't even listen to me, saying that paint is not covered under the warranty. I'm concerned the car was hit and repaired by them, fact that was not disclosed to me. Very disappointed!
Traded in my van got a 2009 Subaru Tribeca really nice they even registered my new car. Very good experience very happy. They always take good care of us
Terrible customer service! We just bought a Honda Pilot less than a month ago, paid for an extended warranty with roadside service. The battery is crap, the car died on us. Called Carmax service department (spoke with manager Derek Van Hook) and they said our options were to fix it ourselves and they would reimburse us (we'd have to take a cab to Autozone), or they could tow today and work on it the next day (I'll get to that in a min)...but they wouldn't attempt to fix it today (even though they were still open) so we could... read more
