Good service, great food and excellent Mojitos. Will go back again!
Always had a wonderful experience and great food however...we were just told by the hostess that there was only one table that would fit our party of 11 and we would have to be out by 7:20... That was disappointing since.we came from nc.

Ma'am I am sorry you're upset but obviously you can see Groovy's is a small restaurant . If you were told that by our hostess that would of meant we had a reservation later for that table. If you had called in advance and made a reservation you wouldn't want us to give away your table would you? We have few options that can accommodate a party of your size so it is HIGHLY recommended to make a reservation in advance. We are from New Jersey and this was our second visit to Captain Groovys in the last 4 years, good food but this time I thought the menu lacked in it's selection of food, catered to what you thought people would like and not what the public would like.
First time there today. The shrimp and grits were AWESOME. I will be back

Nice place, nice people. I had heard good things. I had the crab cake sandwich; one of the BEST I've had and I was a commercial fisherman for eight years. My son had a rockfish sandwich. He said it was excellent !! I'm telling everyone and returning soon.
