The food here is truly exceptional. If I only had one last meal on earth, I would want it to be from Captain Groovys.
Shrimp was fantastic, drinks were awesome, super friendly staff... good time all around :)

Love, love, love. My husband and I visited for his first time and my third. Luckily, we came just in the "nick of time" before happy hour ended. We had a dozen raw oysters (definitely on the small side $9) and a gin and tonic (definitely on the large side and so good $3). I had the tuna sashimi salad which had three nice slices of rare blackened tuna - it was perfect. My husband had a beef rib and swiss sandwich and fries, so yummy. Love Capt Groovys! Our waitress (Alyssa, I think?) was the bomb! Oyster shooters are amazing & the food is great!
The Baja steak salad is honestly to die for! Definitely coming back next time I come to the coast
We almost decided not to go in, as the place doesn't look like much on the outside, but I am so glad we did. The food was amazing. We had a burger and the rib and Swiss. The burger was huge and all homemade, nothing frozen or pre-packaged there and the rub and Swiss was perfection! The bread the sandwich was on, I could have had that for my meal alone. The fries were fresh made in house too. Overall we will definitely be back and I can't wait to come back! Soooo good!
