Highly disappointed! I feel this restaurant is overrated. The atmosphere and service was nice, however our food was blah. The meat was over cooked and the presentation was sloppy. Also our soup tasted exactly like (and looked like) the Campbell’s soup version. I am sorry but for the prices they charge I expected more.
We have loved the Capri for many, many years and will miss Arturo. We dined there last week; and while the charming bar, good service, delicious hot rolls, and overall atmosphere was the same, we were so disappointed with our meals. My veal Picatta which I have had often over the years, was tough even though the sauce was delicious. However, our biggest issue was the huge amount of food piled on our plates - way too much! RecommendedMy favorite was the lasagna and the bruschetta. Then, the dessert, tiramusu, was light and flavorful. Perfect compliment to the dinner.
Capri has evolved to a new level of Italian Cuisine in the Indianapolis Market. Excellent selection and superior service in a setting heretofore unavailable.
