I had the fried oysters they were alright but fried too hard and really salty. My husband had the catfish and he seemed to enjoy it but prefers my version more. I will go back to buy the fresh fish instead. I did enjoy the blues music playing in the background.
It took a bit to get the food but definitely worth the wait. It was the first saturday in Lent so they may have been busier than normal but if the food is any indication, I doubt it. It was so worth it. I had the Shellfish platter and my husband had the catfish dinner (both fried but you can get them grilled instead) and they were both AMAZING!!!
Amazing!!! In town for training and I had looked for restaurants online before coming. So glad I followed through and went to Caplinger's!
Ordered online 40 min in advance but order was not ready. Had to wait another 30 minutes to get my order. Bread was hard. Definitely not worth the $15 for a lobster roll.
IF YOU DONT GO EAT HERE, YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON SOME GOOD STUFF!!! DON'T BE IRRESPONSIBLE WITH YOU'RE HARD EARNED MONEY AND EAT ANYWHERE ELSE!! EAT SMART, EAT CAPLINGER'S!!!!
Food was great, mango tea was terrible though..good service..
