Old worn out hotel, rooms were okay if it was a $35 per night room. On top of the $140 room fee they add another $18 for valet parking which you MUST use. So your $140 room ends up being almost $200 per night. For a complete and total craphole. The breakfast is the worst I have seen in a Hotel, the dining room was tiny and packed with way to many people. I had a package sent to the hotel and they never gave it to me, the girl in the reception told me that she saw it in the manager's office, but it was locked. They said they would send it to my home address, but I haven't got anything, I send them emails and I got no replies! The package contained a Michael Kors wallet, I bet the manager is using it right now!
Friends, family, and to anyone else wanting a great hotel/vacation to the downtown Austin experience.... DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! After driving 4 1/2 hours from Corpus, I paid a WAY more than lavish fee for a basic 2 bed, non-smoking room. Not only did our floor REEK of marijuana when we got back to our room at the end of the night but the customer service from the front desk SUCKED!!!
