This was a great place to stay and the price was reasonable. The halls are a little dank...but the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast that is included has a nice little variety and the staff was very friendly. I would stay at this location again...and try out other locations of this chain. They didn't have any rules/information books in the room and you don't get lotion in the toiletries...only two complaints...and really wasn't a big deal for us:-)
It was the right location at the right price. Old but clean and away from the homeless.
Empty soda machines, had to hook up TV myself, wet carpet, valet doesn't answer when called(three times), no trash bags in cans, one light continued to flicker even when turned off, no ashtrays, leftover trash from previous occupants, key cards not working, multiple broken power outlets. Location seems great because it is next to the capitol, but the lack of parking in the area, excessive construction and sidewalks full of vagrants mean that pizza delivery is one of your best options. Not the newest and fanciest of hotels, but you took care of me on a busy night and even moved my room when we could not get the TV to operate. Room was clean and quiet. Thanks!
