I received excellent care this morning at the urgent care on Centerville Road. The nurses, Dr. Rankin and radiology were all wonderful! I came in because my PCP could not see me. I called, made an appointment, and was seen right on time. Very professional & great staff!! Thank you, CHP!
UPDATE: ***UPDATE: I finally got a call back from CHP. The appeal was denied. Now I really hate CHP and have edited to 1 star. UPDATE: I'm editing my 5-star rating to 2...though right now I feel like they are a 1. The true test of a health insurance company is how they treat you when you actually need them. I'm SO disappointed in Capital Health Plan, "top ranked in the nation." I usually have no issues at urgent care. I sprained my ankle really badly and was not taken to the hospital but was instead told to go to urgent care. They were very nice and wheelchaired me around but when they told me I had a sprain but that it wasn't broken they gave me no direction on what to do besides ice and elevate. No excercises for after it heals or anything. I also was told to get over the counter motrin or tylenol but when I told them I had none at home they didn't offer to write me a perscription. Went to CHP eye care after being told my usual provider, SEES/Hour Glass was no longer a provider. I was received a very cursory exam, then saw the optometrist who performed an exam and sent me to the optical area. Picked frames and were told it would take ten days to get new glasses. Ten days later they called and I returned to pick up them up. I could see better without the glasses than with them on. Add to be reexamined by Dr. Waited two more to be reexamined.
