This is the 4th Catholic pilgrimage I have been on. This trip exceeded my expectations. When I saw Canterbury wanted 100 euros for transport to and from the airport to the hotel I thought that was high. I got on line and found I could take the train from the airport to the train station next to our hotel for 8 euros. It was easy and took 20 minutes. Definitely the worst pilgrimage tour company to work with and deal with. While slew of mishaps and bad communication. Horrible itinerary, poorly planned and dumped us with a guide that was not trained in tourism but did only corporate tourism she told the whole group she let Canterbury know that up front and Canterbury said it was okay for her to guide us anyway which ended up being that she joined us to learn about each place we went to so we were really learning as we walked along with her asking people. Everything was taken care of so perfectly. This was by far the best travel experience I have ever had. From beginning to end, every detail was thoughtfully considered, and every potential issue avoided. I highly recommend Canterbury Pilgrimages and plan to use them for every future adventure.
Canterbury Pilgrimages made this trip a once in a life time opportunity and experience. Their careful planning, and organization made the pilgrimage all the more enjoyable.
