YUMMY – This is by far one of the best BBQ places I have ever been too. Not only is the meat fabulous, but the sides and the sauces are great. The hot sauce is really hot! You also get a great deal of food for the money. The platters are wonderful. We usually get the platter for 3-4 peaople and we end up having food left for the next few days. Campbells is well worth any drive to get there. (In fact we came all the way from Arizona to eat here!!!)
Meaty. – So after making citysearch's best of list, i decided to give it a try. Not exactly what i expected, but not the worst in the world either. The sides (cornbread and black-eye peas, which i mixed together southern style) were good, a little on the bland side, but good nevertheless (at least it wasnt hella-salty). The sliced pork was very juicy and the meat quality overall was alright. A word to the wise... stay away from the "Hot" sauce. Bring The Family – I love BBQ and this is the place! Just as good as any place I've been to in the South. Bring the family, come hungry, and order the meal for 4. Sit back and wait for one great meal. Only drawback(s) --No atmosphere (So What)--No Beer (Which would go great with this food)
Highly Overrated – I heard so many good things about Campbell's so I went one day for lunch with a couple of friends. We had the chicken, brisket, and pork ribs. The prices were reasonable, the sauce was good, and the service was good, but I was disappointed with the food overall. The chicken was great, but the ribs and brisket were mostly fat. great Q!!! – Campbell's BBQ is by far the best BBQ in the northwest! If you haven't tried it yet, you really dont know what your missn'! You get great food, great service in a friendly environment, plus the amount of food you get is HUGE! I give it an all around 10!
Heat minus Flavor – This is a quaint little restaurant with a down-home feel (complete with mom's old plastic dishes). The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. However, the quality of the food is very disappointing. The beans were bland and the potato salad sweet. And all of the meat tasted of either brown sugar of mace. Now I like spicy, but I expect to get some taste with it and this just wasn't the case. Reheat value: give it to the dog (if he sleeps outside).
Delicious food – Been going here since they opened, it is the best in town, great food, good value and outstanding people. Need we say more!!
