Camden sold the apt complex without letting tenants know. Allowed all kinds of people in without checking their background before selling. Now we are stuck with car burglaries every month, rims and tires of cars are been stolen over night. The now new management is non responsive about this problem.
I would leave a 0 star if I could. I applied for an apartment at Camden Vanderbilt on Buffalo speedway February 4th 2021, It was 370.00 so i asked before hand if it got denied if I'd get my money back, they said I'd just lose a 60.00 processing fee. I paid 370.00 ACH withdraw ( direct from my checking account ). February 5th they informed me I was denied. I asked for a refund and Seth told me it would take 2 to 3 weeks they were going to mail it to me and I said I needed my money faster than that to continue looking for apar... read more
Lack of security still exists in this community and manager does not want us discussing that in public. A shame! Run for your life. They just left two cars on bricks after they stole their wheels. This is the most unsafest place I ever lived! I repeat, run for your life.

I was touring the building week, very possible that we will rent here, great location, super nice roof top, closed to the metro and restaurants and groceries store. I meet Jose and Gabrielle their customer services amazing 😉

This place is great until you have maintenance out to fix your hot water on a Sat and they dump 50 gal of water in your apartment. They vacumed up the water but then left us to take care of the dirty floor they left and ring out and wash towels we had to use to stop the water from moving deeper into our apt. After cleaning up we spent the rest of our Sat going through our stuff to check for water damage. I have lived at Camden South Capitol for what is going to be close to a year now and have had nothing but a really great experience. Terrific maintenance staff. José and the rest of the maintenance team keep this building in tip-top shape and they are always a pleasure to greet first thing in the morning. ¡Mil gracias por todo! All in all, very thankful for everyone who has contributed to such a terrific experience.
Very nice building and location (near Nats stadium!). Very professional and friendly staff!!! Awesome views from the rooftop pool!
