Absolutely commendable staff and experience. It's my 8th donation and felt compelled to write something in appreciation to the staff here. Lizzie (?) especially who dealt with me with care and kindness throughout.
I regularly visit the Cambridge Donor Centre to donate Platelets. The staff are always very professional and you’re greeted with a warm welcome every time. Free parking directly outside and easy access from the edge of the hospital site via Adrian Way off of Long Road.
A good place for blood donation. Efficient process and friendly staff.
I mean you turn up and they take your blood and give you a biccie afterwards, what's not to like? Slightly disappointed that you have to move from a green card (2-5 donations) to get a hit drink. I guess it's like levelling up in a game. :)
Donate for the first time here. Paul looked after me. What a legend. Whole process was smooth, they appreciate you being there and it shows. I felt faint during the donation and the amount of care I got from ALL the team was insane. I felt ridiculous but everyone kept making sure I was okay and chatting to me. If only the hospital had staff like they do in the Donor Centre. Looking forward to my next donation. Thank you!
