Cafe Mason is around the corner from hotel. Classic American dinner. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Pretty tasty indeed. Service was prompt. They are open 24 hours. We will be back!
We had breakfast here several times as it was close to our hotel and open very early. The breakfasts were of a good standard and the staff were very friendly.
Our food was just wonderful! We had pumpkin crepes, and eggs benedict. They had a nice selection of coffee drinks and an extensive breakfast menu. The pumpkin was real fresh pumpkin, not canned pumpkin purée. Highly recommend!
It was just about one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful - without being obtrusive. It's such a shame that we only found this place the day we were due to leave SF.
If you want a friendly diner experience near Union Square, go to the Cafe Mason. Cozy, diner-like atmosphere with a full menu and bar. Breakfast was really good with a huge selection to choose from.
I had the portobello benedict two mornings running. It's was amazing. Great service, great location and good price.
Order the 'Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice' Next, make sure you order something garnished with fresh fruit. Trust me...... It was 19 years between visits and they are still have the best breakfast in the area. They just got better. Fresh is the name of the game here.
We ate here on 2 occasions as the meals were so good. The ambiance and atmosphere were great, the booths were clean and comfortable and you could view the kitchen so could see the cleanliness of the place. The service was excellent and the meals met their standard of good quality homemade food. The prices were reasonable.
this is a very nice restaurant not a café. it was very relaxing in there and had really good service. the food was lovely.
