Great service and food. Comfy atmosphere. Right near Union Square, so is easy to get to. Have a great selection of Mexican entrees
Food is good for the price, which is very reasonable. Enjoyed the atmosphere--French, but more like a bistro. Went three times-once for breakfast (very good) and twice for dinner. Dinner menu is fairly extensive.
Had the Santa Fe omelette. It was great! The service was prompt and courteous.
I had an amazing experience at Cafe Mason. I had been having a rough day and came in feeling a bit under the weather. My server, Erin, was not only extremely attentive to my needs, but she suggested I order the swedish pancakes instead of the traditional. I kind of just shrugged 'whatever.' She didn't lose her smile, once. She continued to check on me and cracked a few jokes here and there. I came in not expecting such great service, and left with my own attitude adjustment, and an empty wallet (since I was sure to tip her w... read more
Been here twice and always great service. I ordered the cheese omelet and their home fries and both were excellent. A lot of cheese if you like cheese! You can also order the homemade banana nut bread and they bring it to you nice and warm! Was very good. The coffee is very good. My sister ordered the eggs benedict and she even liked more than Sears Fine Dining! I would definitely recommend this place to locals and tourists. Prices are fair and you get seated quickly even if it's a full restaurant! Will be going back soon!
Stopped off for a quick breakfast before some Christmas shopping and had a superb meal. Shrimp frittata was outstanding as was the service. Fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Also kid friendly!
The restaurant was busy on Black Friday morning, but the staff seemed to be on their toes keeping up with the cliental. Two parties in front of us, but only about a five minute wait. The food was very good, as was the service. Average priced breakfast for downtown SF. Ham, eggs and country potatoes was very good as was the wife's pancakes and fruit.
The food here is great and the prices are very reasonable. I had a grilled fish dinner and my friend had 2 pork chops with fresh vegs - very good. It's a great place to go after shopping in Union Square or going to the theatre. They have large booths and a good variety of food on their menu. I have been here before for the crab and shrimp croissant sandwich and it is's fabulous!
Been there several times while staying in SFO, most of the time together with colleagues and it always was worth its money. You cannot go wrong having lunch there. I think I had nearly all burgers over the years and also most of the sandwiches and can recommend still all of them. Service is fast but can come to its limits when the restaurant is full, which can happen when there are large conferences being held at the nearby Hilton.
