Over the past 3 years Chris has done a lot of work for us - those are our shutters in his gallery! - and the quality is a real pleasure. He's replaced windows, made cupboards and built those shutters and the work is really excellent. Old-fashioned craftsmanhip, a practised eye for detail and an impeccable standard of work. And to cap it all a nice bloke as well. Highly recommended.
Chris Byford produces outstanding pieces of bespoke carpentry and joinery work. The images below show some oak window shutters which he built for two of the ground floor rooms of our C18th cottage in Bibury; they reflect the period character of their respective rooms as well as helping keep out the cold!
