Quickly diagnosed and resolved a strange gremlin on my C class today. This has been my 3rd visit (1st suspension arms, 2nd timing chain) and the service has been professional and friendly each time with a superb knowledge on the cars. James and Ben have looked after my car for a few years now. First time using these guys and very impressed with their knowledge and service. Had a full service and MOT and felt our mercedes was well looked after - not to mention an extremely good valet before handing back over. My 129 SL500 had an engine problem. There was a clicking sound that i thought was a failed or noisy fuel injector. James thought that it was a hydraulic tappet problem and this proved to be correct.( He had experienced this some years ago). There are eight plastic 'U' pipes, on each bank, that feed oil under pressure and keep the tappets quiet. One had failed.James and his partner, Ben, replaced them and the engine and gearbox mounts.
