We're a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we're happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that's your preference. We've been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they're in season. Service was horrible!! Had lunch there today. We called ahead to have prepared for a large group of approx. 12. We ordered off the lunch menus. An hour later 5 plates arrived ( not hot) then 10 minutes later 2 other plates arrived. Several had to leave before their food was ready. Manager was like yea this happens. I won't be back.

Margaritas great. Service excellent. Food was good. Cant complain like the rest . If you like cajun eat here while in waco.

The food is great but the service is better I have never had a waiter like Toni he was the best ... me and my family will definitely come to see him .... there were some problems but they were handled by Toni and his manager the way they should have been and I greatly appreciate the great service by Toni ... we will see you soon ...

Not only do you have a fantastic view of a beautiful river but on top of that you have amazing Food! It was so delicious it left my mouth watering for more although I couldn't even think about eating anymore Thanks for the great service guys!
Had a bad experience the staff today . Arrived around 2pm and waited for a table on patio . Probably not a wise choice as waitress was in the weeds . After drink and food order were take another wait time ensued. The waitress was kind enough to share that the cook had some type of grudge against her today. At that point I decided to cut the loss and seek nutrition Elsewhere.
Freshly made and DELICIOUS! Shrimp LaGrange and maque choux, and spinach artichoke dip. What a fantastic dinner!
We came to Waco for the weekend and several people told us we had to try Buzzard Billy's. We are so glad we did. The blackened chicken salad was amazing! Our waitress was cheerful and very accommodating. We sat outside by the river and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
