My wife and I ate here recently for the first time. The food was great as was the service. We had our food within about ten minutes. The ambiance is also very good. Parking was hard to find but the place is worth finding. By the way I have never had such lean meat in BBQ. We will be back.
Best Eastern Carolina style Barbecue in Asheville. Hands Down.
Being from Kansas City, I refuse to give infidel barbecue five stars. It was really good, though. Definitely try it!
Great food great atmosphere great service. I just wish my girlfriend and I had gone earlier so we had more options. They are so popular they run out of items like the chicken and ribs, so make sure you get there earlier than an hour before closing. My girlfriend deemed it "t-shirt" worthy and now owns a Buxton hall baseball tee �

I absolutely loved it. I would drive the 60 miles anytime for their chicken sandwich. Anxious to try the BBQ next time. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
We had the bbq plate and smoked fried chicken with sides. Everything was perfectly cooked and batter was crispy and slightly sweet! The chocolate toffee pie was delicious!
Phenomenal! Was recommended to us by an employee at Green Man Brewery and it was amazing!
